Official docs (docs/storage.md) publish only a disk-capacity planning formula ('needed_disk_space = retention_time_seconds * ingested_samples_per_second * bytes_per_sample'); no RAM or CPU minimum/recommended figure is documented anywhere in the project's official docs. Open upstream issue #13608 ('CPU, RAM, Storage Requirements for Prometheus (Storage answered)') tracks the gap, noting a prior response 'only addressed storage' when RAM/CPU were also asked about.
